Every expertise claim originates on a website the business owns.
03 / Earned authority
Earn the proof buyersand machines can trust.
Xpand turns what your business knows—its data, experience and point of view—into useful stories, expert commentary and credible third-party coverage.
01 / The invisible expert
Being the expert and being recognised as one are different problems.
Most businesses publish more content when the real constraint is independent evidence. Their strongest insight sits in customer conversations, internal data and years of experience—while competitors with a clearer story become the quoted source.
Outreach starts with a media list instead of a story worth covering.
Generic announcements are sprayed at contacts with no editorial fit.
A placement is treated as the finish line instead of an asset to compound.
The operating system
From expertise to evidence. Four moving parts.
Coverage is not the product. Transferable authority is. The story should help a credible source, support a commercial page and give future buyers a reason to believe the business before the sales conversation begins.
Mine the material
Extract operating data, customer patterns, specialist experience and points of view only your business can credibly own.
Build the story
Turn raw expertise into a defensible angle, evidence pack and quotable commentary with a reason to matter now.
Match the source
Prioritize editorial fit over database size and pitch the journalists, publications and podcasts where the story belongs.
Compound the win
Connect earned coverage to search, GEO, sales material, executive content and the next authority campaign.
Built around the constraint
An authority system—not a promise to ‘do outreach.’
Editors remain independent. Xpand controls the research, evidence, pitch and follow-through, then documents exactly what moved and what the market taught us.

Independent product / Operating note
BETAPressForge is in final betaPressForge is an independent Digital PR operations product built by Joel. It is designed to support the repetitive operational layer: source research, campaign organization, follow-up visibility and placement tracking. It does not manufacture newsworthiness or decide what an editor publishes.
PressForge has not yet been deployed in client delivery. Placement-level results will be published only when live, documented and approved by the client.A strong fit
This works when…
- The business has credible expertise, data or a differentiated point of view.
- Founders or specialists are willing to be quoted and respond quickly.
- Authority influences an expensive or considered purchase.
- The SEO or GEO program needs stronger independent corroboration.
Probably not yet
This is not for…
- A request for promised links from a predefined publication list.
- A business unwilling to substantiate its claims.
- Reputation laundering or paid coverage disguised as earned media.
- Anyone using mass outreach to compensate for a story nobody needs.
Straight answers
Before you commit.
01What is Digital PR?
Digital PR earns third-party coverage by giving credible publishers something useful: original data, expert commentary, a timely story or a genuinely relevant resource. It can support trust, discovery, SEO authority and AI-era source visibility.
02How is it different from link building?
Link building often begins with a target page and asks where a link can be earned or placed. Digital PR begins with a story and asks why an independent source would want to cover it. Strong campaigns may earn links, mentions, interviews or citations.
03Can Xpand promise coverage?
No. An editor controls publication. Xpand owns the clarity of the strategy, disciplined execution and transparent reporting—not a journalist's decision.
04What does PressForge do?
PressForge is an independent Digital PR operations product built by Joel and currently in final beta. It is designed to support source research, campaign organization, outreach workflows and placement tracking while human judgment owns the story and pitch. It has not yet been deployed in client delivery.
05Does Digital PR support SEO and GEO?
Relevant third-party coverage can create independent corroboration, referral paths and editorial links or citations. Those signals can support how buyers and retrieval systems understand a brand, but quality and relevance matter more than a domain metric alone.
The next conversation
You do not need more mentions. You need the right sources to believe the right thing.
Bring Joel the expertise, data and point of view the market is not yet recognizing. Xpand will map the authority gap and define a first campaign only when the evidence supports it.
